Volunteers are needed across Illinois to help homebound seniors receive life-sustaining meals. Volunteers provide more than just a meal; they are often the only smile and friendly voice a senior may see and hear.

The only qualification required is your desire to help someone in need (volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult). You don't need to be a chef; you don't need a college degree; you don't need to be a social worker. All you need is a desire to help others and a willingness to go wherever that help is needed.
